Hello again!!! I hope that I haven't lost all my readers because its been so long. We moved out of Annie's house and haven't had internet. Andrew has been researching different providers to find the cheapest. Right we are using a Blackberry as a modem but should have actual service in the next couple of weeks. Anyway.....
I really don't know what has happened since the last time I wrote. I think that the boys had their first trip to Indiana...to Elkhart to pack up that house. That was really really REALLY not fun. Julie came to help but it was so difficult to do things with 3 babies....those babies being Elliott, Aaron, and Jackson. We got it done though with a little help from our friends. Thanks so much to Leisa and Randy, Rob and Tara, Jenna, Brian, and Emily, and Heather...also Andy and Alexa from across the street. Elliott and Aaron slept the entire way to and from Elkhart!!! Amazing!!!! Andrew and I also celebrated our 5th anniversary (March 22) and our birthdays...Andrew turned 30 on March 21 and I turned 29...also on March 21. We kind of forgot about our special events but others didn't....we had a party on Easter and a cake on our birthday!!! THANKS OTHERS!!!
The twins also had their first trip to Grandma and Grandpa Bock's house in Jamestown, Indiana...close to Indy. They were able to meet their Great Grandpa Schmidt, uncle Eric, and cousin Cassidy while they were there. Also people from church that have been praying for them. They spent their first Easter working hard to be happy when so many pictures were being taken and while Cassidy stole their hats. Their sleep schedule was all off...that wasn't much fun. I can't wait to visit Great Grandpa Schmidt in Florida!!!
We moved into the house in Peoria at the beginning of March. You would not believe the sea of boxes in the living room. With the help of Julie, Joe, Jordan, Jake, Jenna, Jackson (for smiles), Aunt Sharon, and Grandma Bock we have been able to actually have chairs in the living room!!! YAY. I am very excited to have our first children (Azrael, Hermione, and Howie) in our home and also to paint the Elliott's and Aaron's room. I am sure that this will be the shock of a life time but I think we will go with a monkey theme for their room. It feels pretty awesome to be in our own house again. It's smaller than the Elkhart house but we have really worked hard to get rid of lots of stuff. I am giving away a big Kohl's bag of purses....and even some shoes!!! I don't actually like to carry a purse or wear shoes but I sure do like to have choices when I do!!! Andrew has let go of some things as well...that was a big step for him and a surprise for me!!!
Elliott and Aaron had their 4 month check up yesterday. Aunt Sharon came along for moral support since they would be getting another round of shots....poor kids. Elliott is 23 inches long and weighs 12 pounds. Aaron is 22 inches long and weighs 11 pounds 12 ounces. They are so healthy!!! I didn't think they would ever be this big when they were born!!! They both try to eat their hands a lot and are getting better at controlling their heads. They smile and respond to us which is sooo very sweet. They talk all the time...especially Elliott. Sometimes I think that Aaron calls me ugly and Booboo. I keep telling him that he can call me mom and that he thinks I am beautiful!!! They have also been sleeping from 10 or 11pm to 6 or 7 am....this is super nice =) They are not rolling and are not able to reach out to grasp things yet but Dr. Maini said that it's fine. She said that she won't worry about them not rolling over until they are 6 months old. In some ways to seem like 4 month old babies...they are finally on the growth chart (earlier then I thought they would be), but are still behind in some of the developmental things. It is fine though...if they were born on their due date they would only be 2 months old and what 2 month old can roll over??? I'm sure some do but I don't know of any. They are currently fighting off their first colds. Poor kids are all stuffy. Elliott has had some difficulty keeping his formula down at times but that is normal. He swallows lots of the snotty yucky stuff and has to get it out somehow!!! They are no longer receiving the Synagis shots....YAY!!! I am not sure if they will when RSV season starts again or not. The home health nurse said that since how much of the Synagis is given depends on their weight. when the babies are close to a year and older they have to have 2 shots at a time to get enough of the serum. They really don't like shots so getting two at once is not fun for them or for me. Poor Aaron always looks so surprised and he cries soooo very hard. I just want to cuddle him up and hug him forever!!!
I think that is all. I need to go downstairs and take Aaron from Andrew so he can go to sleep. I am hoping that Aaron is asleep so I can put him in bed....I am hoping that Elliott is also asleep so Grandma Bock can put him in bed....I will post pictures soon...I think.....
